I want to take a moment to introduce myself and provide some background information. My name is Grace, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Master of Science degree in Counseling with an Emphasis on Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from San Francisco State University in 2005.
Throughout my career, I have gained a profound understanding of the significant impact that grief and trauma can have on individuals’ lives. I am passionate about supporting clients as they navigate these challenging experiences, offering them a secure space to process their emotions and heal. Whether it involves guiding children and youth through the complexities of loss and other emotional and behavioral issues or assisting adults in overcoming past traumas, I bring empathy, knowledge, and evidence-based techniques to help my clients find resilience and growth. By integrating various therapeutic modalities tailored to each individual’s unique needs – such as cognitive-behavioral therapy or interpersonal psychotherapy – I aim to empower my clients on their journey toward emotional well-being.
In addition, I have had the privilege of working alongside resilient parents facing mental health challenges. In providing a nurturing and empowering space for parents, they can explore their emotions, tap into their inner strengths, and cultivate effective coping strategies that enhance their relationships with their children. Furthermore, I thoroughly enjoy supporting transitional-age youth as they navigate the exciting journey into adulthood. One of my passions is guiding young adults through this transformative phase by fostering essential life skills like emotional resilience, effective communication techniques, and self-empowerment.
Please get in touch with me if you are ready to begin your healing journey towards peace and fulfillment. Let us embark on this path together.
